Jeanie was born in South Africa and has traveled through 23 countries on 5 continents.

 

She began her career writing copy for one of Africa's top safari companies, and later chose to specialize in direct response copywriting.

 

She moved to the U.S. in 2005, where she wrote copy for the largest financial publisher of its kind in the world. She decided to try her hand at writing for the health market, before venturing back into the world of travel. In addition to long-form copywriting, she also writes web content for business and academic institutions. 

 

She married her husband in 2006 and became an American citizen. They live in Maryland.
